There For Tomorrow.

I'm back, and I brought some sexy rock for you all. There For Tomorrow is a band I've always heard of  but never gave a chance.  I was an idiot.  Here is their new cd The Verge.  Enjoy.

La Dispute.

If you haven't listened to this band by now, you're really fuckin' up.  The raw emotion of the music and the poetry and prose of the lyrics make La Dispute a favorite of musical elitists like myself. Here is their LP Somewhere at the Bottom of The River Between Vega and Altair. This is the first song off that album. Enjoy that shit.

Boatrocker.

Boatrocker is a post-hardcore-ish band from Delaware that I have been grooving to as of late. This is only because they are directly after The Black Keys on my iTunes.  Give a listen to it and the proceed to get your rock on.  Here is their cd Delicious Jams. Cop it.

Dance Gavin Dance

Well it finally leaked, 5 days before it actually hits the shelves. I will always love DGD, no matter how many macbook scandals or member changes happen. They adapt and keep creating music that is pleasant to my ears. Love it. Hard. Downtown Battle Mountain II.

Tyler The Creator.

Holy shit. I've just discovered Tyler The Creator, a rapper and producer from Los Angeles, and my god this shit hits hard. This is a song off of his upcoming album and I'm definitely going to get it somehow. He doesn't give a fuck, and neither do I. His first album Bastard is right here. Do it.

Circus Circus.

This band is like a front kick to the mouth.  I get fits of aggression as I'm walking to class while listening to them.  Check out their ep Brooklyn Nightlife and you shan't regret it.  Here is the second song off the album; Amputee Ball.

Defeater.

Well I was planning on only making a post a day so not to saturate my blog with too much nonsense but I am just too excited. The new Defeater cd leaked and it's amazing.  It's called Empty Days and Sleepless Nights and I've listened to it twice through already.  You should too.

Snowing.

Snowing is a band that opened my eyes to the whole midwest emo revival thing thats going on. If you don't know what that is, check out a band called Cap'n Jazz because they started the whole thing back in like 1992 or something.  Expect heartfelt lyrics with a forced sing/scream and fast, clean guitars and drums.  It's like McDonalds baby, I'm lovin' it. Here's the band's two cd's; an ep named Fuck Your Emotional Bullshit and their LP i could do whatever i wanted if i wanted.  Love it as hard as I do, and if you live anywhere near them, go see a show because it looks awesome as shit.

Finally.

Okay world, this is the beginning. Every band posted on here is amazing and should be loved as hard as I love them. Let's get to goin'. Here is the band; The Heel, The Serpent.  They are a Christian band and all their songs center around loving God and such. Even though I'm not into Bibles and stuff, the amount of passion they put in their music is mind blowing and brings me to tears sometimes.  If you like this song, go here and they have provided you with a free download of their cd. It's pretty amazing, so love it hard.
